Natalie is a British actress who trained at Birmingham School of Acting earning a Graduate Diploma in Professional Acting after earning a BA hons in English Literature and Drama and theatre performance at Royal Holloway University of London. During her acting education Natalie specialised in Stanislavski, Brecht, Meisner, Chekov and Noh theatre techniques.

After graduating from BSA she played The Southern Belle in The Emperor Jones with Patterson Joseph at The National Theatre.

Natalie can be seen shaking her funky stuff on the BBC Children In Need advert (Silent Disco) this Winter too!

Recently Natalie has been collaborating with independent film company Better feeling films and is currently working on the role of Super hero Crimson Mist in the short film Power...less (which is being co-produced by Kevin Smith!) This film is her second piece made together with Better feeling films the original venture being the feature film Lost in the Headlights in which Natalie plays actress Sam Chadworth. Whilst at drama school Natalie learned stage combat and has worked rather a lot in this field since graduating, including performing at the Diamond Swords celebration for the British association of Fencing. At this particular performance she played the Lady in the Dick Turpin scene which is linked to this site. Recently she performed the role of Elena in Zorro for the Guild of Directors Creating Violence workshop. Specialising in rapier and small sword Natalie loves to cross swords!

Recently Natalie also dipped her toe into the field of motion capture too... which she cannot expand on further right now but watch this space for updates!

A huge fan of Shakespeare Natalie performed at 2011 Tread the Boards Shakespeare festival playing Hermione from The Winter's Tale and Rosalind from Love's Labour's Lost and has also played Juliet from Romeo and Juliet and Lady Macbeth whilst at BSA.

Natalie has been acting most of her life and first worked professionally from the age of 11. She is also a trained dancer and singer (mezzo-soprano) as well and has had a lot of musical theatre experience. Her favourite musical role to date being Anita in West Side Story which was performed at Bloomsbury Theatre in London.

Natalie has performed at the Edinburgh fringe festival for 5 years in a row, performing lead roles including Emma in Emma, Mrs Swabb in Habeus Corpus, Monica in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, and also Lizzie in Baby and Tina and Elaine in Personals earning 4 and 5 star reviews consistently . She has also strolled through Panto Land more than once playing roles such as the Evil Queen in Beauty and the Beast and various Villagers in a range of pantos at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.

A keen physical theatre performer, she has studied Laben, Grotowski and Feltenchris and loves to work collaboratively in devising material for performance including site specific work. Past site specific work includes Between the lines, by Needle and Thread Productions, set in Birmingham Central Library.

As a keen voice actor Natalie has attached a voice reel here. Natalie has worked in radio too specifically working with Prison inmates writing and performing their own stories in Conscripts with Radio 4 guru Shaun McLaughlin.

Despite Natalie's background being mostly in theatre, she has been working primarily in film; a medium that she loves and hopes to follow further. You will find links to other films on this site.
